stuffed peppers with feta, tomatoes and minced meat
Wash the peppers and cut off one of the tops, remove the seeds and white ends, and remove the green stem from the top. Finely dice the onion. Sauté in a little oil or vegetable fat until translucent, then add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Season the minced meat with the meat seasoning to taste (remember that you’ll also add the feta, which is salty). Dice the tomatoes. When the minced meat is browned, add the tomatoes and simmer briefly. Then dice the feta cheese, add it, and let it melt. Then stuff the peppers with everything, ideally using a spoon. Then place the stuffed peppers in a small baking dish or on a deep plate so they don’t fall over. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 10-15 minutes. Tip: If you like, you can sprinkle grated cheese over the peppers before putting them in the oven. Baked with cheese is also delicious.
