Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pork fillet(s)
  • 10 slices of bacon
  • ½ cup cream
  • e.g. shashlik sauce
  • 3 onions
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

First, cut the fillet into thin slices and flatten them. Then place a layer of meat in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Then shave a layer of onion rings on top and cover with a layer of finely chopped bacon. Repeat until all the meat, onions, and bacon are used up. Fill half a cup of cream with shish kebab sauce until it makes a full cup (if you want more sauce, you can double the amount). Pour the mixture over the meat and bake the dish in the oven for 30 minutes at 225 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit), then for another 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Delicious with white bread, rice, or spaetzle.
