Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1 cauliflower
- 1 broccoli
- salt water
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 3 eggs
- 2 rolls, stale
- 125 ml cream
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- 1 bunch of parsley
- salt and pepper
- marjoram
- 1 tbsp mustard
- some milk
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Cauliflower casserole
Clean the cauliflower and broccoli, cut into florets, and cook in salted water until al dente. Strain and let drain in a sieve. Cut the bread rolls into cubes, soak in a little milk, then squeeze the excess water and mix into the minced meat. Chop the parsley, beat the eggs, and stir both into the mixture. Season with mustard, salt, pepper, and marjoram. In a greased casserole dish, spread a layer of minced meat, then the cauliflower florets, then another layer of minced meat, then the broccoli florets, and cover with the remaining minced meat. Coarsely grate the mozzarella and sprinkle it over the casserole. Bake in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 200°C for about 45 minutes. Serve with a green salad.
