Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 5 sausages
- 6 waxy potatoes
- 500 ml tomato(s), pureed
- 250 ml water
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 bell pepper(s)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 200 g grated cheese for gratinating
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Boil, peel, and slice the potatoes. Slice the sausages and fry them with the onions in a pan. Place the potatoes and sausages in a casserole dish. Add the sliced bell peppers and mix well. Heat the tomato puree with water, sugar, vinegar, and tomato paste until reduced slightly. Add the curry powder and season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce into the casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven at approximately 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
