Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g pasta
- 300 g sausage (Braunschweiger or Dürre)
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 250 g quark (low-fat curds)
- 5 eggs
- 75 g cheese (Emmental)
- salt and pepper
- Butter, for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Cook the pasta in salted water. Dice the sausage. Finely chop the parsley. Mix the curd cheese with the eggs and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Grease a baking dish with oil or butter. Mix the pasta and sausage cubes and pour into the dish. Pour the curd cheese and egg mixture evenly over the top. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) on the middle rack for 35 minutes. After 25 minutes of baking, sprinkle with grated Emmental cheese. Tomato salad goes well with the dish.
