Chocolate chip cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 220 g butter, soft
  • 320 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp beet syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 420 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 400 g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

makes about 50 cookies

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Cream the butter until fluffy and gradually add the sugar. Beat in the vanilla sugar, sugar beet syrup, and eggs. Sift the flour, but this is not necessary; mix it with the salt and baking soda and fold it into the egg mixture. Fold in the chocolate pieces. Scoop the dough with a spoon and use a second spoon to push the dough onto the baking sheet. I made 20 cookies per baking sheet, but you can decide the size for yourself. Bake in the hot oven for approx. 10-15 minutes per baking sheet on the middle rack. Then place the cookies on a wire rack to keep them nice and crispy. Makes approx. 50 cookies.
