Topped toast burger style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 large slices of toast
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • salt and pepper
  • Pizza seasoning
  • n. B. Maggi
  • 8 slices of processed cheese, Cheddar
  • ¼ head of iceberg lettuce
  • 2 vine tomatoes
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Spread the slices of toast very thinly with butter and then bake in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes. Finely dice the onions and garlic and fry them with the minced meat. Season to taste with salt, pepper, pizza seasoning, and Maggi. Once the minced meat is cooked through, spread the cheese slices on top and let them melt. Now dice the lettuce and tomatoes, spread them on the toast, and top with the minced meat.
