Herb baguette with creamy minced meat filling

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 baguettes (herb baguettes)
  • 400 g minced meat
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • ½ pack of Hollandaise sauce, approx. 250 ml each
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

simple, tasty and quick

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Brown the ground beef, then add the onion and garlic and fry until nicely browned. Season to taste and then add the hollandaise sauce. Let the sauce absorb a little until it becomes creamy. Stir in a good handful of the grated cheese and let it melt. Now cut the baguettes in half lengthwise, but don’t cut all the way through. This is important! Fill the opened baguettes with the ground beef mixture. Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top and place the baguettes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes. It all depends on how browned you want the cheese. The filled baguettes are quite rich, but also really delicious. You can tone it down with a light salad on the side. Then the batch will probably be enough for three people.
