Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g sugar
  • 600 g flour
  • 2 packets of baking powder
  • 1 liter of beer (wheat beer)
  • Fat, for frying
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

makes about 20 pieces

Whisk the eggs until frothy, gradually add the sugar, then combine the flour and baking powder and add to the dough. Stir in the wheat beer. Immediately scoop out the dough with a spoon dipped in water and bake in hot oil at 180 degrees C for about 10 minutes. The doughnuts will rise beautifully. Let the doughnuts cool, then dust with powdered sugar. Tip: Turn the doughnuts over in the oil with a fork!
