Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 large eggs
- 40 g sugar
- 375 g quark (low-fat quark)
- 40 g butter
- 200 g flour
- 50 g cornstarch (e.g. Mondamin)
- 1 packet of baking powder
- Palm fat (Palmin) for frying
- n. B. Sugar for rolling

Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Meanwhile, whisk together the sugar and eggs. Then add the low-fat quark and melted butter to the egg mixture. Mix the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder and add to the rest. Heat a large pan of Palmin on the stovetop to approximately 150°C – 160°C. Scoop the batter with two spoons and drop it into the hot oil. Fry for about 8-10 minutes, until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and let drain slightly. Roll in sugar, if desired, and serve.
