Mushroom toast

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 slices of whole-grain toast
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 1 corner(s) of processed cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 medium-sized onions, diced or cut into rings
  • 1 tbsp butter for sautéing
  • 2 tbsp herb cream cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

gratinated toast

Toast the toast. Sauté the onion and mushrooms in a little butter, then season with salt and pepper. Stir in the melted cheese, cream cheese, and parsley. Spread the mixture on the toast (if you like, add another slice of cheese on top). Bake in a preheated oven at 200-225°C for about 10 minutes.
