Salmon fillet with honey-mustard sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ kg salmon fillet(s)
  • 4 large onions
  • 400 ml cream, sweet
  • 4 tsp honey
  • 4 tsp mustard
  • ½ liter white wine (more or less if needed)
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Place them in a shallow baking dish, arrange the salmon on top, and season with pepper. Pour in the wine until the fish is completely covered. Cook in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 200°C for about 25 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the cream in a saucepan. Season with 4 teaspoons of mustard and 4 teaspoons of honey (more if desired) and simmer until the sauce thickens. Wild rice makes a good side dish.
