Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cake base (ready-made product Friesenboden made of puff pastry)
  • 8 meringues
  • 500 g strawberries, semi-frozen
  • 750 ml cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g almond(s), chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 15 minutes

with heavenly cake base, very quick to make

Please check first whether the cake plate with the ring will fit in the freezer! Crush the meringues, puree the strawberries, whip the cream, then mix everything together. Place the bottom of the Friesian base on a suitable cake plate and place a cake ring around it. Then pour the mixture into the cake ring on top of the base and place everything in the freezer. If you like, you can use the segments from the top of the Friesian base as decoration on top of the ice cream cake just before serving.
