Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 chicory
  • vegetable broth
  • 6 slices of cooked ham
  • 6 slice(s) Gouda, young
  • 1 cup of cream (200 g)
  • 1 cup sour cream (200 g)
  • 1 cup sour cream or crème fraîche (150 g)
  • Salad herbs, freeze-dried
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the chicory and cut out the stalk into wedges. Cook in vegetable broth for 15 minutes until tender. Drain in a colander. Wrap a slice of ham and a slice of cheese around the chicory and place the parcels side by side in a baking dish. Mix together the cream, sour cream, or crème fraîche. Season with herbs, salt, and pepper, and pour over the chicory. Place in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for 15-20 minutes. I recommend serving rice with the side dish.
