Baked cheese rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 300 g herb cream cheese
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pack of herbs (herb mix 8 herbs), frozen
  • 2 packs of baguettes (bake-up baguettes) with 6 pieces each
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Delicious snack, great for any party buffet and on the go, makes 24 rolls.

Cut each baguette roll crosswise. Place the butter, cream cheese, and egg in a bowl and mix everything together using the dough hook of a hand mixer. Then add the cheese, finely diced onion, and herbs and mix again. Finely dice the cooked ham and stir in. Season to taste and spread on the 24 roll halves. Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes at 175°C (fan oven) until golden brown. For a vegetarian version, simply omit the cooked ham.
