Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g ham, cooked
  • 1 small can of mushrooms, drained
  • 200 g processed cheese (60% fat)
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 baguette(s) or equivalent rolls

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

Finely chop the ham and mushrooms and mix. Add the cream cheese, butter, chopped onion, and crushed garlic. Mix everything together to form a dough. Slice the baguettes and spread with the mixture. Place the bread slices on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 to 15 minutes. Variation: You can use salami instead of the ham and omit the mushrooms.
