Advent apple cake without nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g margarine
  • 125 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • e.g. milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g chocolate shavings
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 4 apples
  • Fat for the mold
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Mix margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs. Add flour and baking powder and knead into a smooth dough. If the dough is too stiff, add a little milk. Stir in chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and gingerbread spice and pour the dough into a greased, round baking pan. Peel, core, and quarter the apples. Score the apple quarters lengthwise with a knife and arrange them on the dough. Bake at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about 35 minutes. Do the toothpick test. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
