Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 750 g apple, finely sliced
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g raisins
- 125 g almonds, whole, unpeeled
- 500 g flour
- 1 ½ packets of baking powder
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp rum
- ½ pack of gingerbread spice
- some cinnamon
- some cloves
- some milk if needed
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 13 hours 20 minutes
Combine the finely sliced apples and sugar and let stand overnight. Then add all the remaining ingredients, finally mixing in the flour and baking powder. If the batter is too dry, add a little more milk. Pour the mixture into one prepared large or two small, well-greased loaf pans. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for a good hour.
