Baked spaghetti

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350g spaghetti
  • 100 g bacon, streaky
  • 2 large onions
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled, 400 g
  • 1 can mushrooms, 350 g
  • ½ tsp basil
  • 1 tbsp lemon(s)
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 100 g cheese, 45% fat, grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in plenty of salted water. It should still have some bite. Meanwhile, dice the bacon and fry in a pan. Add the finely chopped onions and fry until golden brown. Cut the cooked ham into thin strips and add to the bacon in the pan along with the chopped tomatoes, the juice from the can, and the drained mushrooms. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, basil, and lemon juice and simmer for 10 minutes. Mix the spaghetti with the sauce and transfer to an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in the oven at high heat for five minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve. 173 kcal per serving.
