Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 g sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 70 g cocoa powder
  • 200 g hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

according to grandma’s recipe

Combine the butter, sugar, and eggs, then add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet and secure the front edge with a folded strip of aluminum foil to prevent it from leaking. Bake for approximately 25 minutes at 170°C. While the bread is still warm, but not hot, carefully cut it into square pieces (approx. 1.5 x 1.5 cm) on the baking sheet.
