Oriental orange salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 oranges
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 1 pack of unsalted, chopped pistachios
  • 4 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar, brown
  • some freshly squeezed orange juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Oranges with vinegar – does that taste good? And how!

Peel the oranges, removing the white parts as well. Cut into slices or chunks and arrange attractively on a platter. Cut open the pomegranate, carefully scoop out the seeds (careful, it’s a mess!), and sprinkle them over the oranges. Mix the apple cider vinegar with the brown sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add a little squeezed orange juice and pour the dressing over the oranges and pomegranate seeds. Sprinkle with pistachios, let it sit for a moment, and serve. Serve with a scoop of ice cream (preferably orange ice cream or Amarena).
