Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 60 g honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 150 g ground almonds
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • some flavoring (lemon flavor)
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 egg(s), beaten
  • some milk
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

without gingerbread spice

Mix the eggs and honey until light and soft. Slowly add the brown sugar and continue mixing. Then mix in the almonds and spices. Stir in half of the flour. Spread the rest of the flour on the work surface and place the dough on it. Knead the dough well with the flour. Roll out the dough on a well-floured surface (approx. 5 mm) and cut out any desired shapes. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Beat an egg and add a little milk. Then brush the cookies with the mixture. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 175°C for approx. 8-10 minutes. Store the cookies in a cookie tin with apple slices overnight.
