Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 150 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 400 g flour
- 1 pack of flavoring (Citroback)
- 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
- possibly icing or lemon icing or chocolate coating
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
very fruity and nicely sour!
Strain the lemon juice into a bowl to prevent any pips from getting into the dough. Mix the juice with the powdered sugar. Add the eggs, Citroback, and cinnamon and mix. Add the butter and mix everything again very well. Add the flour and make a smooth dough. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 170°C. Roll out the dough in portions, not too thick, and cut out shapes. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the oven. Bake for approx. 12-15 minutes. I like the cookies best when they are lightly golden brown around the edges! Cover the cookies with regular icing, lemon icing, or chocolate coating, depending on your preference.
