Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g QimiQ, can also be vanilla
- 250 g low-fat quark (cottage cheese)
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- ½ lemon(s), juice
- ¼ liter cream
- 1 cake base (sponge cake)
- powdered sugar
- possibly fruits of your choice

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
Quark cream cake
Stir QimiQ until smooth. Add the low-fat curd cheese, sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice and mix well. If you’ve chosen fruit, fold it in at this point. Fold in the whipped cream. Cut the sponge cake layer in half. Place the bottom half in the cake ring, spread with the cream, and place the other layer on top. Let the cake set in the refrigerator for a few hours. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
