Green beans with basil

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g beans, green fine
  • 5 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tsp basil pesto
  • Salt and pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Wash and trim the beans, then cook in salted water for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain. Mix the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and pesto together to make a marinade, season with salt and pepper. Add the hot beans to the marinade and let it sit for a while. They taste best served lukewarm.
