Minced meat stew with vegetables

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed or chopped
  • 500 g water
  • 250 g potatoes
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 1 gr. can/n beans, green
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 dashes of Maggi
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quick and easy dish

Finely dice the onions and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Add the crushed or finely chopped garlic cloves. Brown the minced meat and season with 1 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, and paprika. Pour over the passata and water and let it simmer with the lid closed. Meanwhile, dice the potatoes into pieces about 1 x 1 cm, wash them thoroughly, and then add them straight away. Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add the beans and diced bell pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes and season with salt and spices to taste. You can vary this recipe as you like. I also like to use carrots, zucchini, fresh mushrooms, or a can of corn, depending on what I have in the house.
