- 250 g diced ham
- 4 Mettwurst sausages
- 2 tbsp processed cheese with herbs
- Sauce thickener
- Fondor
- Rapeseed oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Heat the rapeseed oil in a large pot and fry the crushed garlic and ground beef until crisp. Dice the potatoes, apple, and tomato, finely chop the soup vegetables, and add them to the ground beef. Simmer everything for a few minutes. Then add the beans and their liquid, top up with the broth, and season with savory, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer gently for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, dice the onions and fry them with the ham cubes in a little oil. Cut the Mettwurst sausages into fairly thin slices and fry them until crisp, then add everything to the soup. Finally, stir in the herb cheese spread and season again with the spices. I like my soups a bit thicker, so I always add a little thickener to the soup, but it’s not necessary.
