Light low-fat marble cake with banana and yogurt

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 1 m.-large banana(s), ripe
  • 120 g yogurt, 0.1% fat
  • 4 m.-large egg whites
  • 1 medium egg yolk
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 tbsp baking cocoa
  • n. B. Sweetener

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mash the banana. In a bowl, combine the banana with the yogurt, flour, egg yolk, baking powder, and sweetener to form a batter. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into the batter. For the dark batter, mix 1/3 of the batter with the cocoa powder. Pour the light batter into a baking dish lined with baking paper, followed by the dark batter. Lightly mix the batters with a fork to create a nice pattern. Bake at 160°C for about 30 minutes.
