Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g margarine (yogurt margarine)
  • 120 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), scraped pulp
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g marzipan paste
  • 150 g white chocolate
  • 150 g milk chocolate
  • 2 handfuls of cereal (Smacks)
  • 20 g almond(s), chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 7 hours 5 minutes

Preheat the oven to 150°C. Chop the white chocolate and bring a pot of water to a boil. Fill a metal or glass bowl with the chocolate and place it in a bain-marie to melt. Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Gradually add the flour, vanilla sugar, baking powder, margarine, and vanilla seeds. Mix everything well. Fill a greased cereal bowl (diameter approx. 16 cm, height: approx. 7 cm) with the batter to a depth of about 2-3 cm. Sprinkle with almonds. Roll out the marzipan thinly and press it onto the batter. Place a handful of Smacks on top and pour over the melted white chocolate. Fill the bowl with the remaining batter to within 1.5 cm of the rim. Place in the preheated oven. Bake for about 45 minutes on the middle rack. Then turn the cake out. Melt the milk chocolate and spread it over the cake. Spread a handful of Smacks over the still-melted chocolate. Allow to cool thoroughly. Arrange and serve.
