Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g pasta, e.g. fusilli
- 400 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- 3 dashes of Maggi
- 3 tbsp margarine
- 4 tbsp flour
- 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
- 1 onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Carefully knead the minced meat with the egg, a finely chopped onion, pepper, salt, and Maggi (best with your hands). Form the mixed mince into small balls (about the size of a ping-pong ball). For the sauce, melt the margarine in a saucepan. Stir in the flour and sauté. Add the tomato paste and sauté. Deglaze with water and stir until smooth. Over a high heat, stir in enough water to form a thick sauce. Reduce the heat to low. Grate the onion into the sauce, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Carefully place the balls in the sauce and cook at medium heat for about 20 minutes. To serve, place the noodles on a plate and pour the sauce and balls over the balls.
