Tortellini chicken casserole

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 800 g tortellini
  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 400 ml cream
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 package of cheese, grated, approx. 200 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Simply

Cut the chicken breast fillet into small strips, or dice them if desired. Then dice the bell peppers and onion. Sauté the vegetables with the chicken breast fillet in a pan until the chicken is cooked through. Add the cream to the fried ingredients in the pan and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions if they weren’t purchased pre-cooked, then transfer them to a large baking dish. Bring the contents of the pan to a boil, adding a little thickener or flour if necessary, then transfer everything to the baking dish with the pasta and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place everything in the oven at 250 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes and bake.
