Brilla's tuna ragout with egg and salsify

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1 onion(s), peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 jar salsify(s) , (520 g)
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 can tuna, in oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quick and delicious!

Drain the salsify, reserving the liquid. Sauté the onion in margarine, stir in the flour, and whisk in the milk until lump-free. Add enough salsify liquid to make a thick sauce. Add the salsify and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, add the quartered eggs and drained tuna, and season with salt and pepper. Wash and finely chop the chives and stir them into the ragout. Boiled potatoes are delicious.
