Pasta with spicy Gorgonzola tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pasta, e.g. penne
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 200g Gorgonzola
  • 1 tbsp basil, chopped
  • 3 tbsp water from the pasta
  • Fat, for the shape
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the pasta and drain. Peel the garlic and finely dice it. Mix it with the crème fraîche, 3 tablespoons of the pasta water, and the basil until smooth, and season with salt and pepper. Wash and quarter the tomatoes. Dice the Gorgonzola. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (180 degrees Celsius fan/convection oven). Place the pasta, crème fraîche mixture, and tomatoes in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the cheese cubes over the pasta and bake in the hot oven for 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper, if desired.
