  • 300 g turkey strips
  • e.g. mustard, hot
  • some tomato paste
  • 1 handful of cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • some white wine
  • 100 ml broth
  • 200 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Marinate the turkey strips in a bowl with a little mustard, pepper, and paprika powder, and let them sit in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes. Heat a little oil in a pan. Finely dice the bell peppers, halve the tomatoes, and add both to the pan. Add the marinated meat and fry on all sides until almost cooked through. Add a little tomato paste (about 5 cm from the tube) and fry for about 5 minutes until lightly browned. Press in the garlic and then deglaze with a splash of white wine. Add the stock and finally stir in the cream. Add a little more mustard to taste. Simmer the whole thing on low heat to make it a little more creamy. We eat it with pasta or rice.
