Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 75 g butter or margarine
- 200 g flour
- 4 g baking powder
- 1 egg(s)
- 75 g sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 packets of pudding powder (strawberry pudding)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 large lemon(s)
- 40 g oil
- 500 g quark
- 500 ml milk
- 150 g icing sugar, regular sugar also works
- e.g. strawberries, fresh or frozen
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes
For the pastry, mix the margarine, one egg, the powdered sugar, the flour, and the baking powder in a bowl and spread the pastry evenly on the bottom of a 26 cm springform pan. For the topping, put the egg, custard powder, vanilla sugar, lemon juice, oil, quark, milk, and powdered sugar in a bowl and mix evenly. Spread the mixture on the pastry. If you like, add fresh or frozen strawberries to the quark mixture. This makes the cake taste even fruitier and it looks like the picture. Bake the cake at 200 °C for approx. 95 minutes. The baking time can vary; it should look like the picture. If the surface is getting too brown, cover with aluminum foil.
