Make a sponge cake mixture from 5 eggs, flour, sugar, and baking powder. Grease a fruit-based pan and pour in the mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 10-15 minutes. Put the water in a saucepan. Take 3 tablespoons of water and mix with the custard powder. Peel and coarsely grate the apples and add them to the pan with the water. Add the sugar, 2 eggs, the mixed custard powder, and the juice of both lemons and bring everything to a boil. Pour the hot mixture onto the sponge cake and let cool. Whip the cream until stiff, reserving about a cup of cream. Spread the cream (except for the cream in the cup) over the cake. Decorate with the remaining cream as desired. Garnish with brittle, shaved chocolate, topping flowers, or cocoa powder, if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
