Marinated onions à la Gabi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 medium-sized onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp sherry vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix sherry or white wine vinegar with the sugar, add the onions, mix, and marinate for 5 minutes. Then squeeze some water in your hand and let it drain in a colander. Tastes great with souvlaki, cevapcici, etc.
