  • 2 small cans of kidney beans
  • 6 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • some sugar
  • 15 garlic cloves

Garlic beans as a party side dish

Briefly rinse 2 cans of kidney beans and then drain. Arrange in a shallow bowl or a tall plate. Whisk together the oil, vinegar, and sugar (do not add salt or any other spices) well, then stir in the crushed, fresh garlic. Drizzle this dressing over the beans before serving. These beans are a real insider tip and will enhance any hearty party buffet. They’ll also keep in the refrigerator for a few days if you have any leftovers.
