Spaghettini with salmon and ham chips

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 6 slices of salmon ham
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 150 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 160 g spaghettini
  • ½ bunch basil
  • 20 g Parmesan
  • 4 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

quick and clever pasta recipe, very suitable as a snack

Chop the onion and garlic clove into small pieces. Fry the ham in a pan with 2 teaspoons of oil until crispy on both sides, then drain on kitchen paper. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a saucepan and sauté the diced onion and garlic until translucent, then deglaze with the stock. Stir in the passata and season with salt, cayenne pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions. Pick the basil leaves. Season the sauce to taste. Drain the pasta and divide between 2 plates. Pour the sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Scatter the ham chips over the dish, then add the basil leaves for a richer color and flavor.
