Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 slices of Leberkäse
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 can sauerkraut, approx. 425 ml
  • 2 tbsp sweet mustard
  • 2 tbsp cranberries, from the jar
  • 100g Camembert(s)
  • 2 sprigs of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat the oil in an ovenproof pan and fry the Leberkäse until golden brown, then remove. Peel and dice the onion and sauté it in the frying fat with the sauerkraut. Add a little water and simmer for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, spread the Leberkäse slices with mustard and cranberries. Slice the Camembert and arrange on top. Place on the sauerkraut and bake uncovered in the oven at 200°C or uncovered on the stovetop for about 5 minutes. Chop the parsley and sprinkle over the top as a garnish. Baguette is delicious with this.
