Sea bass Ticino style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 fish fillets (sea bass fillets) 200 g each
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white
  • lemon juice
  • Flour
  • oil
  • 100 g bacon, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • ½ bell pepper(s), red
  • ½ bell pepper(s), green
  • 125 g cheese (Brie)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the fish, pat dry, season with salt and pepper, drizzle with lemon juice, and let stand briefly. Meanwhile, peel and dice the onion, dice the bell pepper, and cut the bacon into thin strips. Coat the fish in flour and fry in hot oil for 2 minutes on each side. Place in a baking dish. Briefly fry the bacon in the remaining cooking liquid, add the onion, and continue frying. Add the bell pepper and fry briefly. Spread the mixture over the fish fillets. Slice the cheese and place it over the vegetable mixture. Bake the dish in a hot oven at 200°C (top heat) for about 4-5 minutes. Serve the fish with risotto and salad.
