Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mixed peppers
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 200 g lean bacon, thinly sliced
  • Clarified butter
  • 200g Camembert(s)
  • 1 ball(s) of mozzarella
  • 16 fish sticks
  • Salt and pepper, pepper, pinch of sugar
  • Sambal Oelek or spicy seasoning paste
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dice the bell peppers. Finely dice the onion. Briefly sauté both in a little clarified butter in a pan (they should still be firm to the bite). Finely dice the bacon and add it. Season to taste, adding sambal oelek if desired. Remove the pan from the heat and let the contents cool slightly. Cook the fish fingers in the oven according to the instructions. Finely dice the Camembert and mozzarella, add to the bell pepper mixture, and when the fish fingers are cooked, spread them on top and grill in the oven until the cheese melts and everything takes on a little color. It doesn’t really need to be served as a side dish, but boiled potatoes or rice go very well with it.
