“Ankezüpfe”

Combine flour and salt in a bowl and mix lightly. Make a well with your hand and add the room-temperature melted butter, 50 ml milk, and 10 ml milk with dissolved yeast. The milk should also be room temperature. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for one hour. Form the dough into three strands and braid them into a beautiful plait. Then brush the plait with enough egg yolk to give it a wonderful brown color after baking. Bake in the lower part of an oven preheated to 200°C for 45-55 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on the oven.
