Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 75 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 150 ml milk
- 140 g sugar
- 220 g flour
- ½ tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ orange(s), untreated, peel
- 175 g blueberries (blueberries)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Melt the butter and let it cool. Combine the eggs with the sugar, add the butter and milk, and mix well. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Combine the flour with the baking powder, salt, and orange zest. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients to form a smooth batter. Sort, wash, and drain the blueberries. Fold them into the muffin batter. Spoon the batter into the well-buttered muffin tins (or line them with paper liners)—only fill them 2/3 full, as they will expand during baking. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes and remove from the tin. Dust with powdered sugar to serve.
