Gratinated garlic and cream chicken

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 150 g cheese (Emmental)
  • Herbs of Provence

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the chicken breast fillet into 2 cm thick slices, sear them in butter, and place them in a buttered casserole dish. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs, and crush the garlic over the meat. Stir the heavy cream and sour cream into the pan juices and then pour the mixture over the chicken fillet. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 200°C on the middle rack for 20 minutes. Serve with green pasta and salad.
