Bresso – Chicken baked with tomatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets, approx. 675 g
  • 8 slice(s) ham (farmer’s ham with garlic), thinly sliced, alternatively Black Forest ham
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • 200 g cream cheese (Bresso herb cream cheese)
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 pack of herbs, de Provence, frozen
  • Salt (4-pepper seasoning salt), alternatively other pepper and some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

– for the UltraPlus –

Halve the chicken breast fillets in half to create four breast pieces. Briefly wash the pieces of meat, pat dry, and wrap each with two slices of farmhouse ham with garlic. Place in the UltraPlus casserole dish. Wash and quarter the cherry tomatoes, then arrange them over the meat. Mix together the Bresso, cream, and Herbes de Provence. Season with the 4-pepper seasoning salt. Pour over the meat to coat thoroughly. Bake in a preheated oven at 200-225°C for approximately 40-45 minutes. Serve with rice or baguette. We used Italian strozzapreti (whole-grain spelt semolina pasta) with it. Note: If you don’t have an UltraPlus, you can certainly prepare this dish in a different dish with a lid.
