Baked chicken breast

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 chicken breast fillets
  • 100 g gratin cheese
  • 4 tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • basil
  • possibly sambal oelek

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Brown the chicken breast and season with salt, pepper, and basil (it can also be lightly brushed with sambal oelek for a spicier flavor). Slice the tomatoes. Place the chicken breast in a casserole dish, arrange the tomato slices on top, and sprinkle with gratin cheese. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for approximately 15-25 minutes (depending on the oven) until the sauce is melted. Serve with a mixed salad and croquettes. Note: The tomatoes make it really juicy.
