Curry cream noodles with minced meat

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g spirals
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 500 g minced meat, half and half
  • 1 small onion(s), diced
  • 2 leeks, cut into rings
  • 200 ml cream
  • e.g. curry powder
  • some sauce thickener, lighter
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the noodles in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Add the diced carrots immediately to soften. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and fry in a pan with oil. Add the onion and leek and sauté. Remove the minced meat from the pan and keep warm. Add the curry powder to the pan and pour in the cream. Add a little light sauce thickener and simmer until a creamy sauce forms. Drain the noodles and diced carrots and add to the cream curry sauce. Add the minced meat back in and stir everything together. Serve hot.
