Lobster tails in the oven

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 lobster tails, approx. 500 g each
  • 2 garlic cloves, cut into thick slices
  • 2 tbsp herb butter
  • 2 small chili peppers, dried
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cut open the lobster tails along the belly side with strong scissors and remove the lobster meat from the shell. Rub the inside of the shell with a tablespoon of herb butter. Push the lobster meat back into the shell. Place the lobster tails in a baking dish, cover the bottom with olive oil, and add the chili peppers. Cook in a hot oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Then add the thickly sliced ​​garlic and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve with pasta. Tip: Toss the pasta in the oil from the lobster tails. Season with salt and pepper.
