Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 scallop(s), cleaned
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 10 g butter, salted
  • some pepper, from the mill
  • some lime or lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

Wash the scallops, pat dry, and halve them. Sprinkle with a little freshly ground pepper and lime or lemon juice. Sprinkle a pinch of sugar over the bottom of the pan and add the butter. When the butter browns, add the scallops, sear briefly on both sides, and then let them simmer for a few minutes (about 7 minutes) over very low heat. You can complement the dish with some sliced ​​mushrooms and a few halved cherry tomatoes, which you add to the pan and briefly sauté. Serve with rice.
